Passion for the Work

Providers are incredibly passionate about the work they do. Many said they entered the field because it aligns with their personal values. There is an incredible amount of joy and satisfaction that comes from working with young children and families. Many focus group participants said that knowing their work makes a difference is why they choose to stay at their jobs.

“I didn't go into it for the money. I went into it because I have a love of young children and families, and supporting them, and all the people I work with have that same desire and love.” - from a direct service provider

“I've been in this organization almost 18 years and in my current role 10 and a half. I would say I've never met a group of more passionate people in my entire life, who come to work every day excited about what they're doing, on fire. I think it's the clients and services in the program that really keep people excited and passionate about the work.” - from an administrator
