
The Strategy: A Call to Action
After completing the focus groups and hearing people's stories, one thing is clear - there is a huge desire and need to expand, diversify, train, and retain the IECMH workforce. It is obvious what needs to change, but there is confusion and uncertainty about how to make progress.
Our strategy requires a re-imagining of how we do this work by putting relationships first, thinking emergently, and applying six principles we call “Re-imagining Moves”. It also includes trusting that the workforce knows what they need, and partnering with them to implement the strategies they identified. The actions generated by the focus groups are found in this report, which is intended to be used as an implementation guide.
